Back during the NFL Superbowl this year, I watched some people stream Final Fantasy VIII together. I played this game as a kid and I thought it was the best game in the world (Still do). I didn't have the knowledge of the story line back then so I got stuck somewhere in the middle of disk two of four. I didn't understand that the game only told you where to go once and if you forgot, you had to look up where to go online. back then, I didn't have access to a computer like I do now.
Anyway. I watched these twitch.tv streamers play through the whole story line and at the end, I was really disappointed about the outcome. I'm not going to spoil it in case you want to check it out. There are PC emulators (that is what the streamers used)
What made this my all time favorite is probably the fact that it is the first video game I remember playing that I actually got immersed into. It has two mini-games built in that I know of. One is a card game that you can play all throughout the game.
